Somewhere along the way I acquired this pair of scissors with an unexpected feature. They cut like scissors. The extra thingummy sticking out one side of the pair of blades is the question.
So far, I’ve wondered if it’s a guide for cutting 3/8 inch (10mm) from a given mark on the thing being cut, while spouse wonders if it’s meant to keep one cut piece from falling to the ground.
Looking for a name for this particular kind of scissors.
