With 29 Spoken Word albums you need a sampler. A couple years ago I released "Joined The Sounds Of Waves" as an opinionated introduction to my recordings. But I've done a lot of writing since then. It's time for an update! My new Rural Gloom Sampler is now free to stream/download via bandcamp. https://damonthomas.bandcamp.com/album/joined-the-sounds-of-waves-a-rural-gloom-sampler #writing #poetry #SpokenWord #recording #florida #bandcamp

I'm surprised no one has written down the lyrics to Bark Out Thunder Roar Out Lightning. Beautiful fusion of spoken word poetry in the vein of Gil Scott-Heron, chanting, West African music, Southern blues, jazz: https://chiefadjuah.bandcamp.com/track/bark-out-thunder-roar-out-lightning
