For many years, Africa has suffered under selfish dictators who promised change but delivered none. Citizens waited in hope, yet remained forgotten. Today, we youths have risen to act creating projects that support and uplift our communities where leadership failed. This mission is bigger than us; we need your support. Please donate to our fundraiser. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us so far your generosity gives us strength and hope.

Is Metal / (Hard) Rock music un-African?
https://amf.didiermary.fr/rock-music-un-african/
An unfortunately popular myth is that Rock music, such as Metal or HardRock, is un-African, a genre for white people in which Africans are under represented. This myth needs to be debunked. The African continent has birthed several diverse and thriving rock scenes throughout the years, from Zamrock to Nigerian psychedelic [...]

Nihiloxica – Kadodi / Black Kaveera
https://amf.didiermary.fr/nihiloxica-kadodi-black-kaveera/
From their debut album, Nihiloxica presents percussions and electronic music out of the Nyege Nyege collective.
The Kadodi rhythm traditionally accompanies the East Ugandan Imbalu circumcision ritual, and this traumatic yet powerful experience feeds the ferocity of the music.
Nakibembe Embaire Group
In Nakibembe, a small village in Uganda's Busoga kingdom (one of the country's four remaining constitutional monarchies), locals have long reserved a communal area for musical performances and social events. In the middle of this space lies a deep pit that serves a single purpose: to amplify the embaire, an immense xylophone made up of between 15 and 25 wooden keys that stretches across the trench. [...]

Dear friends,
since purchasing their own land, the Eco Youths Network Uganda has worked very hard to create a beautiful farm, and is working with young people to learn about sustainability in practice!
Now they are facing the increasingly strong dry seasons, and are looking for a permanent access to water on their land -- please support them!

Before entering the political arena, Bobi Wine became successful in the Ugandan music scene. His music has been characterised as a mix of kidandali, reggae and dancehall, often with a socially conscious message.
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully reached our initial agreements with the landowners and have paid the first installment, granting us full access to the half of the land. We are also sharing authorized photos from the day with the individuals we met. As young people, acquiring land ownership has been a significant challenge. Since the beginning of our work, we have operated on rented land, and we are now transitioning to land that we will own #ecoprojects #Uganda 1/2........
Just to let you know, my new profile picture is nothing to worry about 😊 I just decided to change it and use a photo where I’m wearing the EYN t-shirt. It represents me well and what I stand for.
