Angled view down a quiet street beside a multi-story modern building with large rectangular windows framed by yellow vertical columns and light gray panels; a single pedestrian walks on the sidewalk near the base, with a brick wall section on the right edge.

a bouquet of buildings

(Downtown Jersey City, NJ)

Photo taken from Razza outdoor seating area across Grove Street from City Hall (part of which is seen at right).

Mixed low-rise and high-rise buildings.

We see some high-rise buildings in the middle distance, and some low-rise buildings nearer. Parts of the sky exhibit some cloud versus blue drama. Near, to the left of the frame and toward the bottom, we see a wooden plank sign painted with a yellow crescent moon and the word "BAR" in white. We also see (at the bottom of the frame) a person's head and shoulders from the back, and the tops of some cars.

"Arched" for #FotoVorschlag "Typisch für meinen Wohnort" / "Typical for where I live"

With almost 62km of porticoes in Bologna, (about 40km in the city centre), I'd say these are pretty typical. 😂

This is a black-and-white photograph of some of the portico in San Luca. It is a long, dramatic hallway framed by a repeating series of vaulted stone arches. The arches repeat into the distance. There is light from the fixtures up above which illumintae the upper curves and also illuminate the stone pavement below.
