一心一意精进拳术的光雄从来就没有过照顾小动物的经验，所以刚开始的时候，他完全不能够适应生活里多了这样两个“小捣蛋鬼”。然而，随着时间的推移，再加上“猫咪学者”小梅（松冈茉优 饰）的帮助，光雄和小猫之间的关系越来越亲密起来。在一场比赛中，光雄意外受伤，这严重的伤势令他无法再继续他的拳击梦想，霎时间，光雄的人生失去了全部的希望和意义。
