个性偏执的稻田怜（上野树里 饰）离开了家独自到东京发展理想，可是所在设计会社为了经营不得不采取商业的做法，冲动之下怜辞去了工作。
她生活拮据之时，爸爸（泽田研二 饰）受伤的原因她被召回了老家帮忙。姐姐瞳（本上真奈美 饰）即将临盆，妹妹香（中村静香 饰）又要忙于学业，于是照顾家中电器店的任务就交给了怜。
可是怜一直与父亲的意见不合，她也不喜欢那家不赚钱的电器店。怜的心情越来越差，时常抱怨。怜还对父亲怀疑出轨的事耿耿于怀。
随着日子过去，她渐渐从各位邻居身上感受到了他们对自家电器的依赖，也从他们身上感受到了许多温暖，她开始适应这样忙碌的生活……
