本书为法国著名思想家米歇尔·福柯的代表作、作者生前完成了三卷，我社已于2000年3 月翻译出版，共印了两次，这次出版增补版的原因是我社获得法国伽里马赫出版社的授权，同意我社将《性经验史》第四卷已发表的内容《为负法而战斗》作为第四卷收入本书，趁此机会、译者又对以前的译文作 了修改和提高、因此，《性经验史》中文版将成为全球最完整的版本而面世，而且被收入《世纪文库》第二辑。

Since the 1990s China has seen a dramatic increase in the number of men seeking treatment for impotence. Everett Yuehong Zhang argues in The Impotence Epidemic that this trend represents changing public attitudes about sexuality in an increasingly globalized China. In this ethnography he shifts discussions of impotence as a purely neurovascular phenomenon to a social one. Zhang contextualizes impotence within the social changes brought by recent economic reform and through the production of various desires in post-Maoist China. Based on interviews with 350 men and their partners from Beijing and Chengdu, and concerned with de-mystifying and de-stigmatizing impotence, Zhang suggests that the impotence epidemic represents not just trauma and suffering, but also a contagion of individualized desire and an affirmation for living a full life. For Zhang, studying male impotence in China is one way to comprehend the unique experience of Chinese modernity.

This captivating ethnography explores Vietnam’s sex industry as the country ascends the global and regional stage. Over the course of five years, author Kimberly Kay Hoang worked at four exclusive Saigon hostess bars catering to diverse clientele: wealthy local Vietnamese and Asian businessmen, Viet Kieus (ethnic Vietnamese living abroad), Western businessmen, and Western budget-tourists. Dealing in Desire takes an in-depth and often personal look at both the sex workers and their clients to show how Vietnamese high finance and benevolent giving are connected to the intimate spheres of the informal economy. For the domestic super-elite who use the levers of political power to channel foreign capital into real estate and manufacturing projects, conspicuous consumption is a means of projecting an image of Asian ascendancy to potential investors. For Viet Kieus and Westerners who bring remittances into the local economy, personal relationships with local sex workers reinforce their ideas of Asia’s rise and Western decline, while simultaneously bolstering their diminished masculinity. Dealing in Desire illuminates Ho Chi Minh City’s sex industry as not just a microcosm of the global economy, but a critical space where dreams and deals are traded.

《性社会学》从社会学的视角研究“性问题”。系统介绍了国际前沿研究成果、本学科的发展历史、中国学者的贡献。同时阐述了本学科的基本命题、基础理论、学术流派，性社会学的研究范畴与方法，以及性社会学与社会性别研究的互动关系对主要研究范畴内的研究成果——“性”的本土化、性文化、性的政治与制度、性历史、性认同、性教育、性的社会问题等也做了梳理。

《身体•性•性感》主要内容：“身体是什么？身体的定义之所以重要，不是因为我们可能找到一个单一的定义，而是因为我们找不到一个单一的定义，在整个世界文化中有那么多的各种各样的对身体的定义。”
“如果你要是早一年半以前问我这个问题，我可能会比较关注自己身体是否丰满、曲线是否优美、对异性的吸引指数有多高，但是从去年到现在，我更加关注自己身体的健康，包括身体的脏器和性器官、生殖生理器官，是否健康、是否卫生可能是我更加关注的。”
“如果是情人，就有那种（性的）感觉。但是要说夫妻，因为夫妻之间做爱就是一种常态，跟吃饭一样。说到夫妻生活不会给人性感的感觉……”
“对我自己来说，不可能让自己达到最有吸引力的时候，总有一种观念上的东西让自己不能那么做。但是我觉得最有性吸引力的是胸部要露出一点……但有一次看一个电影，那个人穿着镂空的黑色丝袜和黑色的高跟鞋，当时觉得那是我第一次觉得腿很有性吸引力。以前不会觉得腿会很性感。但就看那人把腿搞成那样吧，真的还挺有意思。”
“女性，如果关系特别好，我会觉得是开玩笑；如果关系不是特别好，比如说你吧，咱俩今天第一次见面，你说我性感，我会觉得你对我是一种奉承。男性的话，如果和我关系特别熟，我会觉得是在夸我：如果关系不是特别熟，我会觉得是他对我的一种言语上的非礼。在中国，我觉得如果一个男人想和你交往，他应该不会夸你性感，如果说他对你有点企图，倒是可能。”

《方刚性学研究系列:男公关》是华语世界性学研究领域一部开先河的优秀著作。《男公关:男性气质研究》一书前半部分是作者方刚的博士学位论文。博士学位论文原来的题目是《男性性工作者男性气概建构的质性研究》。后半部分主要是部分考察笔记,有助于更全面深入地理解“男公关”的生存面貌。

酷儿理论作为一种新兴的理论思潮，已成为西方学界的一门显学；作
为一种批评工具，它也被广泛地应用于电影与文学作品的解析。《酷儿理
论与批评实践》尝试将酷儿理论引进我国文学研究或文化研究学界，并将
其运用于批评实践，具有一定的前沿性和学术性。
