Celeste Epiphany Waite is an American-born British singer and songwriter. In 2019, she won both the Brit Award for Rising Star and the BBC Music Award for Introducing Artist of the Year, and was also named the number-one predicted breakthrough act in an annual BBC poll of music critics, Sound of 2020.

FKA Twigs announced Thursday that her mixtape Caprisongs — her first collection of new music since 2019’s Magdalene — will be released on Friday, Jan. 14. "CAPRISONGS is my journey back to myself through my amazing collaborators and friends,” the singer wrote of the mixtape on Instagram. “CAPRISONGS… it’s bronzer in the sink, alco pop on the side, a cherry lolly, apple juice when ur thirsty, friends in the park, your favourite person, that one sentence somebody said to you that changed everything, a club pre-game, your bestie who is always late but brings the most to the party, meeting a friend at the airport, just togetherness.”FKA Twigs also shared the mixtape’s 17-song tracklist, cover art, and guest list, with artists like Jorja Smith, Daniel Caesar, Shygirl, Rema, and Dystopia appearing. Caprisongs also boasts the previously released single “Tears in the Club,” featuring the Weeknd.“It’s my stubborn caprisun ass telling me to work thru my pain by delivering at work, don’t think just go studio and create,” she continued. Prior to Caprisongs and “Tears in the Club,” FKA Twigs returned to music after a two-year hiatus with “Measure of a Man,” which featured on The King’s Man soundtrack.

13 is the sixth studio album by English alternative rock band Blur, released on 15 March 1999. Continuing the stylistic shift away from the Britpop sound of the band's early career, 13 explores experimental, psychedelic and electronic music. Recording took place from June to October 1998 in London and Reykjavík.

25 is the upcoming third studio album recorded by British singer and songwriter Adele. It is scheduled to be released on 20 November 2015, through XL Recordings. Following the release and international success of Adele's second studio album 21 (2011), she had planned to quit the music industry and go out on a positive note. However, Adele decided to take a hiatus instead and raise her son. During her sabbatical, she suffered with writer's block and rescheduled the album's studio sessions fearing she had lost her ability to write songs. In 2013, Adele had a breakthrough and the material that eventually became 25 manifested, with writing and recording continuing through to 2015. According to the singer, the album's title is a reflection of her when she was 25 and the frame of mind she was in during that age.
The lead single, "Hello", was a critical and commercial success, topping the charts in 26 countries including the United Kingdom and the United States, where "Hello" became the first single to sell one-million downloads in a release week.

30 is the name of the long-awaited upcoming fourth studio album by British singer-songwriter, Adele set to be released on November 19, 2021. After six years of musical break, following the release of her 2015 album, 25, the singer is back for her new era.

Frost first came to see the light of day when Jem Godfrey – musician, songwriter and producer – founded the band in September 2004. The Brit already made a name for himself in the world of pop music on his collaboration with Ronan Keating and Atomic Kitten as songwriter and producer. That is what Jem Godfrey says about Frost and their debut album Milliontown: "I’ve always been into progressive rock music and so I decided to do exactly that, writing an album to my kind of taste". At the recording sessions, he was supported by John Mitchell (KINO, Arena, The Urbane) and two members of the band IQ, John Jowitt and Andy Edwards, as well as studio musician John Boyes. Out came a varied piece of work with all sorts of facets: gripping song structures, refined vocal arrangements and virtuoso instrumental passages. Milliontown blends shorter catchy tracks with brilliant long ones, of which the longest provides a listening pleasure of almost 30 minutes. It becomes obvious that Jem Godfrey knows his stuff from what he learned in the field of pop music. His tracks are always to the point and they never get lost in endless repetitions and gaudiness.

A tempestuous blast of electronic experimentalism with some of Shepherd’s heaviest, most propulsive tracks yet, nodding to the UK bass scene he emerged from in the late 2000s, such as the dystopian low-end bounce of previously shared striking lead single ‘LesAlpx’ but also some of his most expressive songs with his signature melancholia.

The project started simply because we were on tour with the band, had just finished FYF fest in LA, and had a week before picking up the rest of the tour in phoenix. on the way we stopped for a week near Joshua Tree National Park. the idea was to go somewhere fairly remote and setup to rehearse. it was peak summer, so we setup outside and would be playing throughout the day and night. (see super 8 footage). Whilst we were out playing and exploring the area around us - the sound reflecting from the rocks, the sound of the wind between them, complete stillness at night and packs of roaming coyotes in the distance, It became apparent that we could use this as its own unique recording environment.
Anna in our crew creates the projections for our live show, but is predominantly a film maker. We made a few calls to friends in LA and borrowed some film/sound gear and recorded some of the new music that came out of the rehearsals.
Through the process of making this record, we decided to start a series of musical & video explorations in interesting locations, where the music is a function of its surroundings. This first experiment only marks the beginning in this idea, and am currently seeking new interesting acoustic environments to explore. - Sam Shepherd (Floating Points)
