Icons Karen O and Danger Mouse release their debut album as a duo, Lux Prima. It's ambitious album from deluxe disco melancholy (Turn the Light) to bare bones Motown stomps (Woman), while the title track's symphonic sprawl revisits the widescreen heartbreak of Dangermouse's work on Michael Kiwanuka's Love and Hate, evoking the string laden visions of Come to my Garden-era Minnie Ripperton. The album is cinematic, luscious and expansive.

FKA Twigs announced Thursday that her mixtape Caprisongs — her first collection of new music since 2019’s Magdalene — will be released on Friday, Jan. 14. "CAPRISONGS is my journey back to myself through my amazing collaborators and friends,” the singer wrote of the mixtape on Instagram. “CAPRISONGS… it’s bronzer in the sink, alco pop on the side, a cherry lolly, apple juice when ur thirsty, friends in the park, your favourite person, that one sentence somebody said to you that changed everything, a club pre-game, your bestie who is always late but brings the most to the party, meeting a friend at the airport, just togetherness.”FKA Twigs also shared the mixtape’s 17-song tracklist, cover art, and guest list, with artists like Jorja Smith, Daniel Caesar, Shygirl, Rema, and Dystopia appearing. Caprisongs also boasts the previously released single “Tears in the Club,” featuring the Weeknd.“It’s my stubborn caprisun ass telling me to work thru my pain by delivering at work, don’t think just go studio and create,” she continued. Prior to Caprisongs and “Tears in the Club,” FKA Twigs returned to music after a two-year hiatus with “Measure of a Man,” which featured on The King’s Man soundtrack.

作为RadioHead十年来的地6张大碟,虽然有一个颇具反抗意味的标题,但在音乐上却与十年前"爬行"时的狂燥血和少年心气相去甚远.气质上,似乎更加接近于上张专辑<Kid A>的电子迷幻.温和,阴暗,荒凉的实验色彩依然弥漫在整张唱片中.微细的电子噪音不断冲击着耳膜,声音悠远,色彩暗淡.虽然在有的曲目里,比如"There There",还能听出些依稀的力度,然而,也全都笼罩在一层迷雾般的电子糖衣之中了.主音Thom　Yorke的声线如古堡幽灵般游荡,更是把抑郁发挥到了极致.另一首"Myxomatosis"作为整张唱片中最为"摇滚"的曲目,其中充斥着变形的Fuzzed　bass声效,宛如那剂众多摇滚乐手都尝试过的致幻药-LSD.

实际上，或许你会认为我并不了解真正的RadioHead.在2000年那张迷幻又迷幻的<Kid A>问世之后,许多人带着失望离开了RadioHead.而我却恰好是那个时候认识了这支异质的乐队.是在某本杂志上看到<Kid A>的介绍,唱片的封面让我印象深刻.然后,第二天,就在音像店里看到了这张唱片.还是高中生的我居然想也没想就花N十大元买下了,奇怪.于是坠入 RadioHead编织的电幻深渊,无可抑止.

The second album from Montreal's Arcade Fire exceeds all expectations. With string and orchestral arrangements by two of the band members, "Neon Bible" is full of both half-assed punk rock mistakes and meticulously orchestrated woodwinds. Processed strings and mandolin. Quiet rumbles and loud rumbles. But mostly just eleven songs that the band thinks are really good.

一直都有最大的冲动写This Mortal Coil,毕竟他们是我最认同和喜欢的乐队，反而这成了我写他们的最大障碍，怎么写自己也不满意。也一直有感觉想介绍《Blood》给大家，因为一些凌乱却最简单的原因，算了就让我这样凌乱的说出来吧：
从我3年半前拥有这张唱片的时候就把它当成自己听过的最优秀的一张，现在依然这样认为；他是在Darkwave/低调音乐圈里面的高标，把那种超纯唯美，超纯阴暗的色调深入到一个别人难以企及的境地。这样的事情，以前没有人尝试做过，以后也难以有人超越；也是到目前为止我唯一一次勒紧腰带，连续三次购买同张原版唱片的傻瓜行为的元凶；我想说的是，很高兴我能拥有This Mortal Coil的每张大碟，每张都是给我满分的感受，但是，这张：却更远远不是满分那么一点；你认同4AD么？喜欢Cocteau Twins,Dead Can Dance,difjuz等低调乐队么？嗯，别那么早否定/肯定完4AD，直到听过这个真正4AD的精髓和灵魂的所在，这个致命线圈为止吧；或者不是因为This Mortal Coil的出现，在那个时代，那些游离在死亡和崩溃边缘的音乐,Bauhaus,xmaldeutashland，都会失去探求无边黑暗的引标和强大而统一的力量……
这张Blood中，最吸引的地方不只是因为首脑人物，Ivo(4AD老板)不再局限在4AD王国里面发展This Mortal Coil，而是聚集了各处精英，而且在以前This Mortal Coil那深黑不见底的纯唯美世界里面引入了那么丝丝点点亮光.
从我个人的角度来说：有了这一张，其他唱片都可以放弃。

Utopia (stylized as utopia) is the upcoming ninth studio album by Icelandic musician Björk, scheduled for release on 24 November 2017 through One Little Indian Records. During a Facebook Live event held on 15 September 2017 to promote the album's first single, Björk gave insight into the album's theme of utopia in an uncertain political environment: "We have Trump, we have Brexit, we have our issues in Iceland, we have our environmental issues. I think if there ever was an urgency or necessity to come up with another Utopian model, how we're going to live our lives, I think it's now, and (these are) my proposals."

Vespertine, released in August 2001, is an album by the Icelandic singer/songwriter/musician Björk. It sees Björk creating an introverted, quiet world of swirling microbeats and personal lyrics. On the cover she can be seen wearing the swan dress (designed by Marjan Pejoski) that caused a stir at the 2001 Academy Awards.
The album was originally released both on CD and on DVD-Audio in 2-channel (48khz/24bit) and 5.1-channel (96khz/24bit) advanced resolution. It peaked at number eight in the UK Albums Chart and at number 19 in the U.S. Billboard 200. It was also nominated for Best Alternative Album at the 2002 Grammy Awards. Recently music webzine Drowned In Sound named Vespertine the number-one album of the last six years not to garner press attention.[1] Stylus Magazine placed it 36th on their 'Top 50 Albums: 2000-2005 Vespertine was also selected as one of the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
The album was re-released in 2006 as a DualDisc including a lower-quality DTS 96/24 version of the original advanced resolution 5.1 mix. The DualDisc also formed part of the box set.
On August 22, 2008 Björk wrote an open letter on her official website expressing her anger at the fact that Valgeir Sigurðsson has over the years been credited with writing the instrumentals for the album. She explained that he had been only an engineer and programmer (and that she herself had produced every track on the album), and argued that part of the reason was to do with sexism in the music industry.

Homogenic is the third studio album by Icelandic musician Björk, released in September 1997. Produced by Björk, Mark Bell, Guy Sigsworth, Howie B and Markus Dravs, it was released on One Little Indian Records. The music of Homogenic was a new style for Björk, focusing on similar sounding music combining electronic beats and string instruments with songs in tribute to her native country Iceland. Homogenic was originally to be produced in her home in London, United Kingdom, but was later recorded in Spain to avoid interruption from the press after the suicide of Björk's stalker Ricardo Lopez.
Homogenic marked the first of several production collaborations between Mark Bell and Björk, who Björk would cite as a major influence on her musical career. The album peaked at number twenty-eight on the Billboard 200, and at number four on the UK Albums Chart. Five singles were released from Homogenic: "Jóga", "Bachelorette", "Hunter", "Alarm Call" and "All Is Full of Love". Homogenic was highly acclaimed on its initial release and continues to be praised by critics, with Sal Cinquemani of Slant Magazine stating that "if not the greatest electronic album of all time, it's certainly the greatest of its decade".

前作のMMに続いて今回はSSだ。サービス・ステーションと割り切っていいのかもしれないけれど、ナチス・ドイツに由来するのかもしれない。曲の中にドイツ車も出てくるし。それか、もしかしたらナチス・ドイツに由来したパンク・バンドに由来するのかな。タイトルよりもイニシャルのほうが気になる。MからSになったというのはやはりマゾヒスト林檎にはサディスト入っててそれもありってことかもしれない。ところでぼくのこのレビューはフィオナ・アップル以来だけど、編集部はいちおう語呂合わせ狙っているのかなあ。この次がリンゴ・スターかシーナ・イーストンだったら許してあげるけど。シーナ&ロケッツじゃあいかにもねえ。「弁解ドビュッシー」の中の“どうせあたしの人生 語呂合わせなんだもん”という一節は、彼女にしてはやけにうるわしい開き直りだ。こういうことを言ってみせたりするから“おれの人生だって、おやじギャグさ”みたいに同調するギャグおやじがパクっとやられちゃうんだろうなあ、と他人事のように論評しておくことにする。それにしても彼女の言葉の仕掛けはものすごくマニエリスティックで、マザーグースばり、いやそこまで高尚でなくてもジェイムズ・ジョイスばりとぐらい言ってしまってもいいだろう。和風にみれば連歌だな。この究極の13曲の一人連歌は“椎名連歌”と、べつに重役級のおやじギャグとばすわけじゃないが、とりあえず命名しておこう。彼女が好きなピーター・グリーナウェイばりのシンメトリーへの偏執、数に対する偏執は、鋳型嗜好、ギブス・マニア、コルセット主義の椎名マゾヒスト連歌をますます金縛りの極致へと追い込んでいく。そうした語呂合わせの容器が固まっていけばいくほど、辻褄合わせの社会との断絶がはっきりとみえてくる快感。開き直り方を学ぶなんてたいそうなもんでもないが、「人生は辻褄合わせなんかじゃない」と思わせてくれるだけで椎名林檎の歌は人をしたたかにさせる。 (野中映) --- 2000年04月号

Lykke Li (born Li Lykke Timotej Svensson Zachrisson on 18 March 1986 in Ystad, Sweden) is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Her music often blends elements of pop, indie rock and electronic; various instruments can also be found in her songs, including violins, synthesizers, tambourines, trumpets, saxophones and cellos. Li possesses the vocal range of a soprano.

Lykke Li will release her new album I Never Learn on May 6 in North America and May 5 internationally via LL/Atlantic. Today, she's shared the album's tracklist and a video for new song "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone". Directed by Tarik Saleh, it's a close-up portrait of Lykke. Read the lyrics to the song here.
The album was co-produced by Björn Yttling (of Peter Björn and John), Greg Kurstin, and Lykke. It's the final entry in a trilogy, which includes 2008's Youth Novels and 2011's Wounded Rhymes.

Polly Jean "PJ" Harvey MBE is an English musician and singer-songwriter. Primarily known as a vocalist and guitarist, she is also proficient with a wide range of instruments. Harvey began her career in 1988 when she joined local band Automatic Dlamini as a vocalist, guitarist and saxophone player.

Every record I make has an archetype,” says Clark. “‘Strange Mercy’ was Housewives on Pills. ‘St. Vincent’ was Near-Future Cult Leader. ‘MASSEDUCTION’ is different, it’s pretty first person. You can’t fact-check it, but if you want to know about my life, listen to this record.” ‘MASSEDUCTION’ is the culmination of years of writing, with songs crafted from voice memos, text messages, and snippets of melodies that came to Clark while traveling the globe. Special guests on the album include Thomas Bartlett on piano, Kamasi Washington on saxophone, Jenny Lewis on vocals, and beat production from Sounwave. Greg Leisz and Rich Hinman add pedal steel, and Tuck and Patti Andress contribute guitar and vocals respectively on select tracks.
