Nicolás Jaar is a Chilean-American composer and recording artist based in New York. Among his notable works are the albums Space Is Only Noise, Pomegranates and Sirens.

FKA Twigs announced Thursday that her mixtape Caprisongs — her first collection of new music since 2019’s Magdalene — will be released on Friday, Jan. 14. "CAPRISONGS is my journey back to myself through my amazing collaborators and friends,” the singer wrote of the mixtape on Instagram. “CAPRISONGS… it’s bronzer in the sink, alco pop on the side, a cherry lolly, apple juice when ur thirsty, friends in the park, your favourite person, that one sentence somebody said to you that changed everything, a club pre-game, your bestie who is always late but brings the most to the party, meeting a friend at the airport, just togetherness.”FKA Twigs also shared the mixtape’s 17-song tracklist, cover art, and guest list, with artists like Jorja Smith, Daniel Caesar, Shygirl, Rema, and Dystopia appearing. Caprisongs also boasts the previously released single “Tears in the Club,” featuring the Weeknd.“It’s my stubborn caprisun ass telling me to work thru my pain by delivering at work, don’t think just go studio and create,” she continued. Prior to Caprisongs and “Tears in the Club,” FKA Twigs returned to music after a two-year hiatus with “Measure of a Man,” which featured on The King’s Man soundtrack.

LCD Soundsystem is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002 by James Murphy, co-founder of DFA Records. The project started simply because we were on tour with the band, had just finished FYF fest in LA, and had a week before picking up the rest of the tour in phoenix. on the way we stopped for a week near Joshua Tree National Park. the idea was to go somewhere fairly remote and setup to rehearse. it was peak summer, so we setup outside and would be playing throughout the day and night. (see super 8 footage). Whilst we were out playing and exploring the area around us - the sound reflecting from the rocks, the sound of the wind between them, complete stillness at night and packs of roaming coyotes in the distance, It became apparent that we could use this as its own unique recording environment.
Anna in our crew creates the projections for our live show, but is predominantly a film maker. We made a few calls to friends in LA and borrowed some film/sound gear and recorded some of the new music that came out of the rehearsals.
Through the process of making this record, we decided to start a series of musical & video explorations in interesting locations, where the music is a function of its surroundings. This first experiment only marks the beginning in this idea, and am currently seeking new interesting acoustic environments to explore. - Sam Shepherd (Floating Points)

实际上，或许你会认为我并不了解真正的RadioHead.在2000年那张迷幻又迷幻的<Kid A>问世之后,许多人带着失望离开了RadioHead.而我却恰好是那个时候认识了这支异质的乐队.是在某本杂志上看到<Kid A>的介绍,唱片的封面让我印象深刻.然后,第二天,就在音像店里看到了这张唱片.还是高中生的我居然想也没想就花N十大元买下了,奇怪.于是坠入 RadioHead编织的电幻深渊,无可抑止.
我想我只是喜欢这样的RadioHead.抑郁的,阴暗的,迷乱的RadioHead.虽然很多曾经喜欢他们的人因为这样的转变而离他们而去.然而我却是喜欢的.我觉得,他们就是这样一群神经质的孩子,纤细,敏感,抑郁.引用一个已经离开 RadioHead的网友说的：(他们的)音乐极尽压抑郁闷之能,让你在这样的听觉效果中自残!仿佛是面对着那永远无法征服的黑暗,你所能做的,唯有睡着或是死亡.

Discovery is the second studio album by French house duo Daft Punk, released on 26 February 2001 by Virgin Records. It marks a shift in the sound from Chicago house, which they were previously known for, to disco, post-disco, garage house, and synthpop-inspired house. The album later became the soundtrack of the anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, which was a collaboration between Daft Punk, Leiji Matsumoto, and Toei Animation. All of the music videos for the tracks on the album are segments of the film, which follows a story of a kidnapped extraterrestrial band.
Discovery is recognized as a concept album in reviews by New Musical Express and Spin magazines. Early versions of the album included a "Daft Club" membership card. The card included a code which granted access to an online music service, which featured tracks later released on the album of the same name and Alive 1997.

Moon Safari is the debut studio album by French electronic music duo Air, released on 16 January 1998. On 14 April 2008, Virgin Records re-released Moon Safari to mark the album's tenth anniversary. The limited edition album came with a bound book, a DVD documentary about the duo, and an extra CD with live performances and remixes. Rolling Stone magazine ranked the album #93 on their Best Album of the Nineties list, while the French edition named this album #65 on their list of the 100 Greatest French rock albums. Moon Safari set the stage for the budding downtempo music style and, according to Nielsen SoundScan, had sold 364,000 copies by 2009.
