阅读《哈6》英国原版的理由
据悉，这次全球同步首发《哈利.波特和混血王子》是继2003年6月，中国国际图书贸易总公司全球同步发行《哈利.波特和凤凰社》之后，第二次参与全球同步发行《哈利.波特》系列图书。该公司负责这一事务的姜涛告诉记者，《哈利.波特》系列图书英文版有四个版本，分别是：英国儿童版、英国成人版以及美国儿童版和成人版，而中国国际图书贸易总公司引进的版本是英国儿童版。
姜涛表示，尽管美国版和英国版的内容没有区别，只是在书封和内页排版上有所不同，他们认为英国版才是《哈利.波特》的纯正版本，因此在引进中国的时候选择了英国儿童版。“《哈利.波特》的作者罗琳是英国人，书中的故事都是以英国为背景的。无论是书中所描述的主人公的服饰、还是故事所发生的地点以及其他细节，都是以英国为背景的，我们认为英国版本是更加纯正的版本。”姜涛还介绍，成人版和儿童版在内容上也没有区别。（新闻来源：新京报）

二、丛书作品出版时间，大致在一九四九年至一九六五年之间，个别多卷本作品的出版过程较长，超出了这一时段。
三、由于多种原因，一些作品曾有多种修订本，此次出版，选其较优版本，并参照其他版本进行校勘。
