這是CD再版發行，原版於1978年面世，開宗明義Ambient系列第一張專集(其實1975年11月發行的Discreet Music才是Eno第一張Full Length Ambient大碟)。令人心平氣和的音樂。

After Mansun's first album, drenched in synthesizers and covered in the sheen of heavy production, many would have expected them to do the same but even bigger: bigger orchestra, cleaner, more 'pop'. However the market had caught up since 'Attack Of the Grey Lantern', and an album of such would not be considered as particuarly innovative or classy as the first was - still as their style became more mainstream at least it would be more commercially viable. However the band took the important and clever decision to change direction with their second attempt, replacing studio gloss for a full CD of live mayhem mixed out of control. Six takes its title from two references: a book by AA Milne and a character in TV series 'The Prisoner'. Both favourites of the band, the influences are indictive of the subject matter - personal issues replace the imaginery characters of their first album. Songs about tramps sleeping in doorways and having an AIDS test lie alongside songs about eastern philosophy and western religion. Musically though, influences are fairly absent - Paul's idols Bowie and De Voto do seem to have helped tailor the sound, but really 'Six' is pretty unique - there is no sound like it. This is because although there is only 13 tracks on the album there are hundreds of tunes, and only a few choruses. The structures are revolutionary, and that is not the only originality. The band, fed up with the music industry supporting more britpop rock have made guitars sound un-like guitars, with the use of many effects pedals and under-used mixing techniques. And yet the album was still based on Mansun playing live, so even though the album would be impossible to play live as it is, there is a feeling of natural aggresion and ad-libbing fuelled creativity. 1981年，Japan乐队发表他们最重要的作品Tin Drum的时候，恐怕未曾想到他们封面上的那幅毛泽东的肖像，是当时尚未解禁的台湾政府，几张首要禁止入关的有声出版物之一。 作为乐队的最后一张专辑，Tin Drum是乐迷心目中Japan一张无懈可击之作，显示了他们脱离新浪漫的层面后所建立的独特乐风。唱片里泛着David Sylvian等人对中国文化/音乐的兴趣，同时亦把Mick Karn一手Fretless Bass与Steve Jasen富有东方色彩的鼓击推至一个高度层次，为作品构成了奇特的节奏部分，并引发Japan走向多面化的音乐视野。

香港独立音乐杂志MCB选出的百张欧美最具革命性的专辑之一，评语是“堪与Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band比拼的迷幻专辑，是他们“历年来想象力最为丰富的作品”。这张专辑纯粹是滚石乐队为了和Beatles一比高下而推出的，虽然没有获胜，但在英国当年排行榜第三，美国排行榜第二，也算虽败犹荣了。

Avalon is the RIAA Platinum-certified eighth and final studio album by the English rock band Roxy Music. Released in May 1982, it was recorded in 1981–82 at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas, and is generally regarded as the culmination of the smoother, more adult-oriented sound of the band's later work. It was the band's most successful studio album, reaching No. 1 in the UK (for 3 weeks) and staying on the album charts for over a year. Although it only climbed as high as No. 53, Avalon is notable for being the band's only million-selling record in the United States. A single, "More Than This", preceded the album and was a Top 10 hit in Britain, Australia, and several European countries. The title track was released as the album's second single and also became a UK Top 20 hit. A third extract, "Take a Chance With Me", with a remixed version of album track "The Main Thing" on the b-side, reached the UK Top 30 and was Roxy Music's last UK hit single to date.

More Light is the tenth studio album by Scottish band Primal Scream, released on 13 May 2013. The single "It's Alright, It's OK" received airplay on national stations including BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 6 Music and Absolute Radio and on music channel MTV Rocks, whilst it has also been played on a number of smaller stations including 106.9FM WHCR and Kingstown Radio. More Light received highly positive reactions from critics, and is perhaps their most critically acclaimed album since XTRMNTR. On Metacritic, the album has a score of 77 out of 100, based on 29 reviews. Neil McCormick of The Daily Telegraph gave a positive review of the album, describing it as "mesmerising" and containing "big, monstrous, mantra-like, psychedelic grooves". He went on to add More Light should do much to restore Primal Scream’s reputation as one of the country’s most creative and ambitious rock bands. The music is dense yet uplifting, creating its own tensions with Gillespie’s dark, stream-of-consciousness lyrics. Songs like 2013, Culturecide, Tenement Kid and Walking With The Beast convey an impression of a highly strung, heartfelt assault on the inequities of the modern world, before building to the euphoric gospel release of closing track "It’s Alright, It’s OK".

Laura Marling returns this May with the follow up to 2011's 'A Creature I Don't Know'. The new album, 'Once I Was An Eagle', was recorded at the Three Crows studio of regular producer and instrumentalist Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams, Vaccines), with Dom Monks on engineering duties and Marling's lifelong friend Ruth de Turberville on cello. It's a hugely ambitious record that reflects the dark themes of 'A Creature I Don't Know', This is Laura's fourth album - an achievement in itself for a 23 year old, the remarkable nature of her talent and career being underlined by the 2011 Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist, the two Mercury Music Prize nominations, and the NME Award for Best Solo Artist that she's received in the years since her 2007 debut 'Alas I Cannot Swim'.
