虽然父权思想在这个封闭村庄里根深蒂固，但同样也有乡村人情世故的一面。对顽固不同的丈夫们用同样的固执对抗，需要设备找赞助那就拉关系找到小学同学的枪械厂来帮忙，找不到参赛者那就找来领居亲朋好友。最后预期只有十几二十人的小规模比赛，成了参赛者超百人的农村盛事。
标题的32米是第一届女子射击赛的距离，由男子射击赛的组委会“照顾”女性从45米距离改短设立，在第二届比赛时被Hamile改回40米。

Halime lives in a small Turkish village where life is still largely governed by the will of the patriarchy. An independent heroine, she believes, however, that women have the right to spend their time on things other than housework, children, and husbands. She therefore decides to organise a shooting competition in which only women are to participate. For the event to be successful, Halime must first convince the local men of its purpose. The documentary offers a light-hearted portrait of resistance that relies not on radical gestures or protests, but rather on quiet strength.
