stopped playing VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action 🌗🌑🌑🌑🌑
My second time attempting this. The first time I remember getting so bored with the amateur writing that I abandoned the game before even getting to the gameplay.

This time I forced myself to sit through the boring introductory exposition. Once I got to the actual drink-making, I don't know what I was doing wrong, but I just couldn't make my first drink. I was following the recipe exactly, mixing it, but every time it would give me the symbol of a glass with something purple inside and some gibberish underneath it, and it just wouldn't let me serve that. Which makes me wonder, why not? If I messed up the drink, let me face the consequences. Still, I don't get wtf I was doing wrong. Judging by the tutorial, the game seems mind-numbingly simplistic, and yet I somehow managed to fuck it up.

Oh well, I don't think I'd enjoy it anyway. This seems to be more of a visual novel than a bartender simulator, and the quality of writing is just really bad for a game where 90% of the gameplay is reading.
