When 50 Cent said he was a fan of the action genre, he clearly did not mean King Hu, Tsui Hark, or John Woo. It's genuinely amazing just how many bad movies he's been in. Like, the man has possibly the worst taste in movies. Den of Thieves tries to be Heat so hard, it's borderline plagiarism. There's not a single original idea here. It's just diet Heat, and by "diet" I mean it has absolutely zero nutrients. One-dimensional characters with virtually no development quietly execute a heist and have a simplistic shootout. The only entertaining scene is when a bunch of white cops beat the shit out of Ice Cube's son. Otherwise, this is quite possibly the most boring movie I've ever seen. Definitely a contender.
