a review of 黑暗侵袭

Great concept, but in execution it devolves into a generic action-thriller. An average person couldn't come out unscathed from fighting a wild cat, let alone a humanoid creature. A chimpanzee will easily mutilate a human being. Wild species are normally several times stronger and faster than their domesticated counterparts. I can't understand how much of the story is canceled out by its ending. But the first half is pretty great. I think it's actually a better movie before the big reveal. Caves are terrifying. I don't know why people even go there. It's like they don't know video games exist.
