stopped playing Penguin Colony 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
Did not expect this to be a Journey clone. Journey was a very specific work though, where its mechanics symbolically reinforced its themes. I'm not sure if using those mechanics here is a good idea, but so far I did enjoy what I saw. But a game like this, I think, lives or dies by its narrative. The twist at the end of the demo did get me curious enough to want to play the full game. It seems to be a new spin on the old Mountains of Madness premise, but it's hard to say right now.

Play as Different Penguins Unlock different penguins to replay the game as. Different penguins have different abilities and challenges. For example playing as a baby penguin means you can fit in smaller gaps but you cannot swim.
Story Our narrator is part of an expedition which has gone horribly wrong. Having been called by the old ones, his brain no longer experiences time linearly. Past, present and future have become one for him. The only thing who can hear his cry for help is you, a penguin awoken by a flare in the distance.
