Even ignoring the racist casting and the clear comparative inferiority to its source material (either the comic or the anime), I can hardly fathom how anyone could consider this a good movie. It's like the script was written by a 19-year-old sophomore film school student. Cringy and frustrating at every step. Not to mention the usual ignorance of what makes cyberpunk a distinct genre beyond neon lights and augmentations.
