Canvas print on a living room wall - A cat sits with its back to the viewer, gazing at an intricate mandala pattern, the symbol of the Flower of Life. The cat and the abstract background are bathed in a warm golden light. The warm colours create a calm and contemplative atmosphere. The background of this hand-painted acrylic painting is abstract, rendered in shades of purple, pink and orange, and the circular symbol of the Flower of Life is clearly visible.

Sweet bird is an acrylic painting in contemporary square format painted by artist Karen Kaspar. A cute little bird is sitting on a branch and is looking to the right side. The bird seems to be smiling.
The inspiration for this bird portrait was a female house sparrow sitting in a bush in our garden. But I was in the mood for some soft candy pastel colors. So it became a fantasy bird in colorful shades of teal, yellow and pink. The abstract background echoes these colors.
