An angled view of wooden display cases shaped like castle crenellations, marked with the names of Black victims of lynchings and the locations and dates of their deaths. Four labeled glass jars sit on the cases, two on the upper “teeth” and two on the gaps in between. Each jar holds soil from the site of the indicated lynching. The names on the jars are of Horace Duncan, William Allen, Erastus Brown, and Fred Coker.
