I was curious about OGGcamp and its concept for a music version.
So on the podcast, I talk with @andypiper about the world of open source and community unconference events.

Hi! I'm Ivan.
This is my self-hosted instance on #Mastodon, fueled by caffeine and stubbornness.
I'm a #music producer with a strong passion for #photography — musicwise I bend towards #EDM, while photography stretches from drone/aerial to architecture and basic still/everyday life.
Big believer in #privacy, digital independence and owning your own space online, powered by #FOSS and #Linux.
Feel free to connect! ✨
Got my retro rock tune up tonight. Two chords with capo on the 5th fret. Em and A fingering shapes. Basically I just recorded a bunch of jam tracks, wrote some lyrics and pieced it into a song. The lyrics are about my sweetie Wendy. Been together 39 years now. The song is my Valentine’s Day gift for her. The pic is our old ‘69 VW bus on the way back from long beach on the west coast in the 1980’s. Good times. #music #songwriting #recording #gearsquad #guitar https://youtu.be/KgMphVUexN8

Just noticed one of my favorite pieces of software ever had a big update after more than 5 years: the #Rockbox media player software! https://www.rockbox.org
I ran this on an old #iPod color, of course, but later on an old #Android phone, a #FiiO M3K and today on a #Surfans F20! Honestly it just can't be beat, software wise, for a media player. 🧵1/2
