The image depicts a dramatic and poignant scene captured in black and white. It features the remains of an animal, presumably a goat or sheep with its body sprawled out on the ground, suggesting it may have died recently. Perched atop this lifeless form are two birds: one appears to be a vulture, identifiable by its bald head and large hooked beak, while the other could possibly be another species of bird that resembles an eagle due to its size and posture.

The background is blurred but seems to consist of natural elements like grass or foliage, which adds to the somber mood of the photograph. The contrast between the darkened form on the ground and the lighter tones around it create a striking visual impact. This could be interpreted as representing themes such as mortality, nature's circle of life, or perhaps even famine.

The image carries an emotional weight through its stark simplicity and composition, focusing attention solely on these two creatures atop the animal carcass to provoke thought about their relationship with each other and possibly broader ecological implications within a natural setting.

E niente, quando passo qui sopra supero confini emotivi tracciati nell'infanzia. Non sono più straniera e allo stesso tempo sono l'estranea che ritorna.

Super #niche: I received this book last year and finally started reading (muddling through) it. It's a 700-page #Kannada commentary on a 350+ years old #Sanskrit scholarly work about events in the life of Krishna.🪈

The original "shree-krishna-chaarithrya-manjaree" is by Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Swami and is only 28 verses (112 lines).📜

Closeup of a hard-bound book placed against a white wall, on a brown bookshelf. The cover shows the Hindu deity Krishna playing flute, a white cow standing behind him. Blue background at the top, white in the middle, and orange at the bottom. White Kannada text at the top and bottom. [Text not shown here, but please ask if interested.]
