Laguna de los Pozuelos Natural Monument
[Argentina]

The photograph shows a general winter view of one end of the large "Laguna de los Pozuelos Natural Monument", a nature preservation reserve located in the Jujuy province, in the Puna region, Argentina at an altitude of 4,000 metres (13,000ft) above sea level. In the foreground, alongside extensive scrubland typical of the area, is a dirt track leading to a large agricultural building located next to the lagoon. On the opposite shore, a large mountain range rises beneath a clear blue sky.
