Blauer Himmel.

A close-up shot of Summer Snowflake flowers, captured against a softly blurred red brick background.

The flowers are bell-shaped and pendulous. Each of the six white tepals is tipped with a distinctive greenish spot.

The stark white of the flowers pops against the warm, out-of-focus tones of the brick wall.

After ICE came to Minneapolis, ProPublica journalist Peter DiCampo saw his community step up to patrol the streets, drive strangers to work and provide aid to families in hiding.

These are his neighbors, in their city, in their own words.

Ok, decent week for photography! Went to a new spot with some crumbled buildings.... Turns out it was an old lodge of some sort. I'll get back there again some time. The mist rolled in heavy a couple of times, but I didn't have a lot of time as I had to get to the jobsite for work. But this weekend I had an opportunity to reconnect with my local photo club as we went for a walk around the city centre to take pictures.
Anyways, here's some of the results from this week

Didn't expect to shoot a deer at a bar last week...

(With a camera, gosh, I ain't that evil)

Thanks so much for @kompy.dog@bsky.brid.gy being game.

(Nikon FE2, Kodak Colormax 400, 50mm f1.8 Series E and a prayer)

This shoot was a gamble but I like the vibes. #QueerPortraiture #Photography #NikonFE2
