A slender dragonfly is perched on a thin, reddish-brown twig. It has a striking pattern of white and dark brown stripes running down its long, thin abdomen. Its delicate, translucent wings are slightly spread. Its compound eyes are prominent on its head. The background is a soft, out-of-focus blur of deep green foliage.
