编剧非常突出，矛盾冲突很合理地发展下去，直到令人唏嘘不已的境地，最后又峰回路转给人以希望。表演精彩，人物个性极其鲜明。导演的作用确实不突出，中规中矩。但中间那些配乐、空镜头，适时地调节了节奏，我觉得还是体现了导演的能力。

一如既往地制作精良，细节丰富，富于幽默感。前半部分很像我国五四时期的故事，一个年轻人努力逃脱家族的安排追逐自己的梦想，像是《家春秋》一类的故事。后半部分情节急转，经由特殊家族历史的发现达到个人与家族的和解，合乎情理。然而，如果真这么容易和解的话，为什么还有“父母皆祸害”小组呢？

很奇妙地，这部电影让我两次想起塔可夫斯基。一次是开头K杀死农民那场戏的构图风格和锅里煮饭的声音，很像老塔的所有电影。第二次是K与戴克警官相遇时，昏黄的色彩基调很像《潜行者》。所以比起前作，我更喜欢这部续集的影像风格。即使思想内核不够深刻，极具冲击力的影像已经让我足够喜欢了。

正如某位豆瓣网友所说，异形系列的第二部已经不是恐怖片，而是动作片。特别是结尾处女主角穿上机器人铠甲与异形女王近身肉搏，直到高空悬挂分出胜负，是经典的动作片模式。我很佩服影片的场景设计，那些狭窄逼仄的空间、阴暗冷酷的陈设，跟惊悚激烈的打斗配合得很好。

这部电影整个就是为了呈现最后的视觉奇观。这简直是最适合3D电影的题材，比大部分科幻片、动作片效果都要好。为了给视觉奇观留出足够的时间，前面的剧情段落是不充分的，我们没有看到男主角的技艺是怎样发展精进的。于是这个故事不再是努力追求梦想，而是纯粹的冒险，人物形象和主题都单薄了很多。
