@TheQuietGamer It's flattering that I influenced you to get into the Simpsons and thanks so much for the shoutout! The feeling is mutual, I always enjoy reading your reviews too. Glad you liked the movie, but admittedly it's the worst entry-point into the series, lol. I have a friend for whom that's the only experience with it, and he didn't like it at all. I do think that having prior knowledge of these characters and their story arcs does affect the enjoyment of this movie. For me the movie is actually kind of a finale of my headcanon. It doesn't really get better afterwards. But I do highly recommend you check out at least the first three seasons, but I'm sure you've heard before that the first 9 seasons are considered the Golden Age of the show.
