Hello everyone. After receiving the final estimate for Pixie's surgery and a long discussion, Melissa and I decided to set up a GoFundMe to help offset some of the veterinarian/surgeon bills. It's not something I do lightly, I hate asking for help. We'd like to raise half the expenses. If you can contribute we'd appreciate it, if you can't, I understand completely. THE PUPS VETO
DAYLIGHT SAVING 💎

I stayed in bed until 5:30 (new time) this morning, thinking I was handling the first day of daylight saving time rather well.

Apparently I was the only one.

I started making tea and the kids' breakfast and generally rummaging around in the kitchen. Then Phryne appeared from her bed on the back veranda early; she was looking deeply unimpressed, so she parked herself beside her bowl in case civilisation had completely collapsed.

Bill, who never gets up at that hour, came out looking for me because I was clearly in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then Pete woke up and couldn’t find Bill.

So by 6:30, one clock had changed, and the entire household's chain of command had broken down.

Humans call it Daylight Saving.

The dogs are treating it as a systems failure.
