Autumn continues its sweep through the Arctic Circle Hiking Area just outside Rovaniemi. Returning today to explore the Pikkurompa trail offered another front-row seat to the season's changes, from the golden birch trees along the mire to all the mushrooms, rowan leaves, and small details along the forest floor.

A close-up photograph of a low-growing, damp forest floor in a pine forest. Multiple stalks of clubmoss are rising vertically, featuring small, spiky green leaves and several prominent, light-yellow, candle-like cones (strobili). The clubmoss is surrounded by lingonberry plants, some with red or dark berries, scattered green mosses, and a few coppery-brown fallen autumn leaves. A shallow depth of field keeps the front clubmoss stalks in focus against a blurred green background.

I thought about entering this contest, but I'm not a professional artist with a portfolio and all that. So, I just used it as an art prompt. Made with Sketchup 2017 and MakeHuman

A fairytale #footpath on #YnysLlanddwyn for #FootpathFriday

#Anglesey #Meer #sea #IrishSea #IrischeSee #MeerMittwoch #SeaWednesday #Wanderweg #countryWalk #hiking #wandern #hike #Natur #nature #landscape #landscapePhotography #NorthWales #Wales #Cymru

This image features a serene coastal landscape during what appears to be sunset. A gravel path, slightly curved, leads the viewer’s eye towards the horizon. The path is bordered by grassy fields on both sides, with the grass appearing golden and slightly windswept. To the right of the path, rugged, dark rock formations extend towards the sea, creating a striking contrast with the softer landscape. The sea is calm, stretching out to meet the sky, which is filled with clouds that are illuminated by the soft, diffused light of the sun. The overall mood of the image is peaceful and contemplative.

I migrated my profile here, so let's add a short #introduction:

I am the #developer of #ArcaneChat, one of the #DeltaChat developers and many other small projects related to it, like creating or porting several web apps to #webxdc (in-chat mini-apps), I also develop several #bots for the mentioned chat apps

Outside #programming I like to cook, #hike, learn to play the #guitar, chill listening to music, drink green tea, learn #German language (and I would like to learn #Portuguese, #Italian and #French if I even finish with German 😅)

I speak #Spanish and #English but I will be speaking only English in this account
