'Muster / Pattern' #FotoVorschlag

#Photography #TextureTuesday #Minimalism

The image shows a close-up of a textured metal plate with a diamond-shaped pattern. The diamonds are slightly raised and have a metallic brown, rusty colour. The surface appears textured and slightly worn. Fine irregularities and variations in colour lend the material an industrial or vintage charm.

The Cliffs of Moher, as seen from our July cruise aboard Borealis around the coast of Ireland. The sandstone and shale cliffs run for 14 kilometres, ranging from 100 to 200 metres in height.

#Photography #Travel #Cruise #Ireland #Geology #Landscape #CliffsOfMoher #Ireland #Cliff #TravelTuesday

We're at sea on a bright, sunny evening with a little haze in the sky turning it pale blue edging towards white. The water is a deep blue and largely calm, and we're gazing across it towards land several hundred metres away. Sheer cliffs over a hundred metres in height span the middle third of the view, slightly higher on the left side than the right. Rock strata can be clearly seen running parallel to the water's surface with the lower and upper halves of the pale stone cliffs separated by a distinct boundary that bulges out slightly. The face of the cliffs undulates and is ridged slightly creating a few spaces with deep shadows but the cliffs are largely flat-fronted, with a slight green tinge of growth from about half way up where the inward slope of the bulge allows plant life to gain a foothold.

The reason your face looks wrong in photos. It's not you; it's mostly physics and some psychology.

Gold Unrolled at Courtown Woods. https://buff.ly/U220stt

#photography #Landscape #Nature #WoodlandPhotography #AutumnVibes

A vertical eye-level photograph of a quiet woodland avenue lined on both sides by tall, mature deciduous trees. Dark, textured tree trunks frame the view and reach upwards, their branches interlocking overhead to create a high natural arch. The leaves at the top are turning pale yellow and golden green, illuminated from behind by soft, diffuse sunlight. A flat dirt and gravel path covered in fallen reddish-brown leaves runs straight down the centre, receding into a lush green forest background. The overall mood is calm, tranquil, and atmospheric.

The image features a solitary wooden bench facing a serene, expansive landscape of grass and heath, with a few sparse trees under an overcast sky. A birch tree stands close by, adding to the tranquil, natural atmosphere.

It was raining pretty good that afternoon, but I still went out looking for cats. Instead, I found a wet coyote looking very stoic in the rain. Who's a good dog? Yes, you are.
