It was raining pretty good that afternoon, but I still went out looking for cats. Instead, I found a wet coyote looking very stoic in the rain. Who's a good dog? Yes, you are.

#Fotovorschlag #Muster #GeometricPattern #Calligraphy #Stucco #IslamicArt #MoorishArchitecture #PatternDesign #ArtHistory #Alhambra #Symmetry #Texture #TextureTuesday #Photography #art #travel #spain #espana #andalucia #granada #UNESCO #myphoto

Close-up of an intricate stucco relief panel from the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. The center features a circular medallion surrounding a prominent coat of arms. The central shield bears a diagonal band with raised Arabic calligraphy reading the dynastic motto "Wa-la ghaliba illa Allah", which translates to "There is no conqueror but God". The monochrome plasterwork serves as a prime example of the fusion of the three main pillars of Islamic decoration: The floral element (Ataurique) encircles the coat of arms with a lush web of blossoms, leaves, and stems, symbolizing the "Garden of Paradise" and standing for fertility and life. Around this, the geometry (Sebka) dissolves into strict, mathematical interlacing bands, featuring rhomboid shapes and endless knot patterns (stars and crosses) typical of Almohad and Nasrid architecture. Finally, the epigraphy (calligraphy) along the edge of the circle and in the corners features stylized, letter-like ornaments that create a fluid transition between script and plant motifs.

In today's twisted saying.

The reptiles can symbolize personal transformation and the primal aspects of your subconscious mind. Discover the "Dreaming Meaning" like a seat on the dock has foot steps or leaves?

There is a lot of extra art to see in the post. Or enjoy the spot-the-difference.

SONY RX1R III: Shadows and details in the woods (part 2)

From such a little and so fiercely criticised camera, I have to admit, that I believe many to be wrong. It requires a bit of time for shooting nicely with this camera, as its size is quite compact, but it is so nice to have it around...

Check these black and white details in the woods 😍🤩
