One year ago today I posted this miniature Matrix Morpheus scene I created using real figures, lighting and miniature sets along with a bit of a blurred behind the scenes apologies for that.

Laguna Colorada
[Yavi _ Jujuy _ Argentina]

#photography

Photograph taken at dusk, with the last Residual Light, at the so-called "Laguna Colorada" near the town of Yavi, in the heart of the Puna, in northwestern Argentina, at an altitude of about 3500 m above sea level. It owes its name to the reddish surroundings due to the composition of the soil and is located at the foot of the "Los Siete Hermanos" mountain range.

In the last light of the setting sun, the band stands in the dimly lit ship's hold and plays a concert. The backlighting sharply highlights their outlines. A bokeh effect enhances the atmospheric lighting.

The photograph shows, from bottom to top, a tall, modern structure made up of metal struts and beams. The lines run parallel, which, due to the low camera angle, creates a tunnel or corridor effect. The image is in black and white, which emphasises the shapes and the contrast between light and shadow. The lighting is minimalist, with reflections of light on the metal surfaces. The background is dark, which makes the structure appear even more striking.

Good morning! It's a good day to go look at some birds.

This is taken at sunrise at RSPB Snettisham, before a high tide event. This sends up tens of thousands of birds into the lagoon.
Stay tuned for more photos!
