Window in the Greenery

📷️ Ricoh GRIIIX

#myfotokempi

#photography #photo #fotografie #color #ricoh #WindowFriday #FensterFreitag #windows

This color photograph captures the window of an old wooden house, almost hidden behind lush greenery. The wall is clad in faded, gray-blue boards, with paint that has cracked and peeled over time. In the center is a wooden window frame with a characteristic small opening pane. Behind the glass, white curtains and potted houseplants on the windowsill are visible, while the reflection of a tree crown appears in the upper part. The foreground is occupied by a blurred bush with young green leaves, which creates a natural frame and hides the window from direct view. The image conveys the atmosphere of a quiet, cozy, slightly forgotten village life and that special beauty that lives in old things.

#Today 25

Good day!

Autumn colors in the forest atop Pengelly Ridge, this image taken about one minute before I emerged from the trees and discovered clouds pouring down the canyon.

This was also immediately following the steepest part of the hike.

Big effort, big reward. 😃

Be everwell.

A trail passes straight through the forest where the undergrowth is shades of red, orange, and yellow. The pines largely block the gray sky above and ahead.
