With heavy armor, weapons, and a legitimate battle-pup on your side, safety isn't even a question. 😎🐶
The warrior handles high-level operations.
The dog commands psychological ops and morale.
And if someone dares to breach order...
They’ll have to talk to the dog first. 😂
Looking at that snout, those talks aren’t gonna last long.
Fierce team. Massive heart. Absolute calm. 🇺🇦💪

Wand in de Parroquia de San Juan Bautista in Catemaco, Mexico, Ed van der Elsken, 1960

#Catemaco #Mexico #EdvanderElsken #ESATencionSrs #Peregrinos #Spanish #SanPelayos #SanPelagrosas #LaSantísimaVirgen #LatinAmerican #fotografie #photography #EdVanDerElsken #EdvanderElsken

http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/RP-F-2019-298-4-11

The image depicts a young boy standing in front of a wall that appears to be within a religious or educational institution. He is dressed formally with what seems like clerical attire, including a dark robe over his clothing and holding an open book which could suggest he's reading or being taught something. The setting has a historical feel, indicated by the black-and-white photograph style and aged documents on display.

Various signs are affixed to the wall above him; one reads "ES ATencion Srs. Peregrinos" followed by more text in Spanish that includes references to Virgen de Loreto Arteaga and other religious figures like San Pelayos, San Pelagrosas, Recentes Uds., La Santísima Virgen... The language is indicative of a Latin American setting.

To the right side, there's an array of framed pictures or documents with some visible imagery that appears to be pastoral scenes. A handwritten note on paper also hangs from a hook attached to the wall, adding to the historical and communal atmosphere of the place.

The overall composition suggests this could have been taken in a parish house where locals gather for religious events or community activities. The photograph is credited to Ed van der Elsken with context provided by Wand in de Parroquia de San Juan Bautista in Catemaco, Mexico, from 1960.

„Protz und Prunk“

Opernhaus Graz

#FotoVorschlag #fotografie #photography #graz #architecture

Dear Friends, As many Long Islanders know, the Long Island Rail Road has 30+ year old rail cars with UV damaged windows on the south side of east-west running trains that obscure passengers' view. Though they have promised replacement, progress is, literally, hard to see. In any event, if you're looking for a clear view out the window you're out of luck. If you're open to foggy or otherwise abstracted images, have at it.

LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD STATION JAMAICA, JAMAICA, QUEENS, NY - SEPT 23, 2026 - The view out a UV damaged Long Island Rail Road car window is of a traveler boarding the train as it dwells in the station. The damaged acrylic plastic window defocuses the view and causes highlight details to take on a glowing quality.

📍 Salamanca.

#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday

Descripción en #alttext

#photography #photo #fotografia #color #streetphotography #architecture #cityscape #salamanca #sunrise
