In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is the second studio album by the American rock band Iron Butterfly, released in 1968. It is most known for the title track, a simple composition which, due to an extended jam, occupies the whole of Side B. The album is also available in a deluxe edition CD.

Originally released on Columbia in 1968, The United States of America is one of the legendary pure psychedelic space records. Some of the harder-rocking tunes have a fun house recklessness that recalls aspects of early Pink Floyd and the Velvet Underground at their freakiest; the sedate, exquisitely orchestrated ballads, especially "Cloud Song" and the wonderfully titled "Love Song for the Dead Che," are among the best relics of dreamy psychedelia. Occasionally things get too excessive and self-conscious, and the attempts at comedy are a bit flat, but otherwise this is a near classic.

Vincebus Eruptum (the first word is pronounced 'win-kay-bus') is the debut studio album by American rock band Blue Cheer. Released in January 1968, the album was the first to feature the band's classic lineup of vocalist and bassist Dickie Peterson, guitarist Leigh Stephens and drummer Paul Whaley. A commercial and critical success, Vincebus Eruptum peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and spawned the top-20 hit cover of Eddie Cochran's "Summertime Blues". It is lauded as one of the first heavy metal albums.

The Electric Prunes is the 1967 debut album by The Electric Prunes. The first track, "I Had Too Much to Dream (Last Night)", was a hit and became the band's signature tune. It became the lead track on the compilation Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965-1968. The album also contains another notable psychedelic rock composition, "Get Me to the World on Time"

Disraeli Gears is the second album by British supergroup Cream. It was released in November 1967[1] and went on to reach number 5 on the UK Albums Chart.[7] It was also their American breakthrough, becoming a massive seller there in 1968, reaching number 4 on the American charts.[8] The album was #1 for two weeks on the Australian album chart and was listed as the #1 album of 1968 by Cash Box in the year-end album chart in the U.S.[9] The album features the two singles "Strange Brew" and "Sunshine of Your Love".
The title of the album is based on a malapropism. Eric Clapton had been thinking of buying a racing bicycle and was discussing it with Ginger Baker, when a roadie named Mick Turner commented, "it's got them Disraeli Gears", meaning to say "derailleur gears," but instead alluding to 19th-century British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli. The band thought this was hilarious, and decided that it should be the title of their next album.
The original 11-track album was remastered in 1998, and then subsequently released as a two-disc Deluxe Edition in 2004.
In 1999, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
In 2003 the album was ranked number 114 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.[10] VH1 also named it their 87th greatest album of all time in 2001.

Forever Changes is the third album by American rock band Love, released by Elektra Records in November 1967. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Forever Changes 40th in its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008. It was entered into the National Recording Registry in May 2012.

Their 1967 album got critical raves (Lillian Roxon called it "the album that astonished everyone and blew a million minds") for its artful blend of orchestration (from Van Dyke Parks) and the strength of Ron Elliott’s songwriting. A haunting, beautiful record.

Da Capo is the second album by American rock group Love, released in January 1967 by Elektra Records. The bulk of Da Capo was recorded between September 27 and October 2, 1966. "7 and 7 Is" was recorded on June 20, and had been released as a single in July of 1966 backed with "No. Fourteen", an outtake from their debut album.
