DAVE EDMUNDS' importance in the history of Welsh rock music cannot be understated. In the 70's he became an icon recording for Led Zeppelin's Swan Song label and working with GEORGE HARRISON. Edmunds' recording career began with the trio LOVE SCULPTURE, revealing EDMUNDS to be a guitar hero of extreme prowess. After a first single released under the name THE HUMAN BEANS the band became LOVE SCULPTURE and recorded "Blues Helping", a classic album of Blues Rock for EMI's Parlophone label. In 1969 the band veered to a more "underground" direction to record their classic top ten hit "SABRE DANCE", championed by DJ John Peel. The ensuing album (engineered by future YES producer EDDIE OFFORD) was equally stunning. Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the expanded reissue of "Forms and Feelings".

For fans waiting for a follow-up to the massive success of 90125, 9012 Live: The Solos proved to be a disappointment. This brief album consists of solo turns by each bandmember, along with two 90125 tracks scarcely changed from the studio versions. "Solly's Beard" provides a pleasant, if somewhat incoherent showcase for Trevor Rabin's guitar work, and Jon Anderson takes an uneventful walk down memory lane with "Soon." The highlight of the album is the duet "Whitefish," and with Chris Squire and Alan White galloping through a spirited medley of "The Fish," "Sound Chaser," and "Tempus Fugit." While it's an okay tour souvenir, 9012 Live can hardly claim to be a proper album.

A mysterious figure of the late '60s who put out an interesting eponymous album on the names-can-be-deceptive Chartmaker label. With his funky, keyboard-based rock and full, soulful vocals, Darius sounded like a more eccentric and far moodier, doomier counterpart to Lee Michaels. The record was imaginatively arranged and produced, with flourishes of flamenco guitar, odd echo-tinkles, and some dynamic organ and bass hooks adding to its overall air of idiosyncrasy. It's little known, even among psychedelic collectors, and worthy of exhumation on CD reissue.

Beggars Banquet is a studio album by English rock band the Rolling Stones.
