We're looking west over the beach and across the Pacific as the sun sets. Silhouetted against the golden sky is an absolutely enormous log, and sitting on it are three people.

When you want to be a part of the street fair but don't want to be with everyone else (Portland, OR, 2026)

At a street fair, a man dressed in a strange costume sits cross-legged and alone next to a traffic barrier with a few wares apparently for sale.

“Old camera maintenance”

The Nettar series from Zeiss Ikon was a successful range of self-mounting folding cameras for 120 mm film. This Nettar S 515/2 version released in the early 1930s produces 6×9 cm images and features a self-timer (hence the “S”). It also features a brilliant viewfinder on the lens body and a pop-up viewfinder on the…

Sint-Annatunnel

#Urban #Photography

A long pedestrian tunnel featuring a strong single-point perspective that recedes toward a central vanishing point.

The tunnel's walls are lined with small, off-white square tiles trimmed with dark blue tiles along the top and bottom edges.

A continuous line of rectangular overhead lights runs down the middle of the ceiling, creating strong leading lines that draw the eye down the corridor.
