Hi Everyone.
I'm #NewHere and am enjoying #Brussels despite the wet.
I'd love to have some suggestions of people to follow in #photography #EUPolicy and #foss
I will (probably) post photos mostly (whenever I remember to actually choose and edit the good ones) and the rest is yet to be discovered...

A view along Mont des Arts / Kunstberg, in Brussels with a grey, cloudy sky in the background.

A macro photograph of the convolutions of a green kale with blue highlights, looking more like algae or lichen than a vegetable.
Not everybody loves kale, I know.

The dogs got really interested in a tree in the woods that had a split in it, so I went to investigate and found these mice all lined up in there. There must have been a dozen in all.

#urban #metro #architecture #montreal #photography

Photograph of an underground metro station, taken from one end of the platform looking towards the tunnel in the back, acting as a vanishing point. On the left, the tracks in the floor, the lights above and the reflective orange surfaces on the platform edges create lines extending into the background. In the center, the platform itself with its small, round blue tiles and yellow arrows indicating the train exit doors, and two passengers waiting at the far end. On the right, along the gray concrete wall, modern-style bench seating, with red seats and rounded gray backs, and the black band at the top with the station name "Radisson" in white, also create an alignment of shapes and colors towards the background.

Silhouetted Winter Trees at Dusk – Black and White

Sometimes there is more color from the black-and-white than the color photograph. For example, these silhouetted trees stand against a vibrant sunset. The sky glows with shades of orange and purple, creating a serene evening scene. However, when you remove the color, you actually see the personality of the trees and the base of the story about this photograph.
