Been so tied up with work lately and it’s just been too hot outside. Until it cools off a little here’s a repost of fall vibes from last year.

Closeup of leaves on the ground beinf awash with light from the sun on the right side of the frame. In the background a small barn can be seen but it’s blurry.

Post production question: Is there a simple way to remove banding/lines in my photos?

I've googled the issue and I understand _why_ it happens, but I'm sometimes forced to shoot in silent mode not to disrupt the show so I'm kinda stuck with it.
I've found a manual solution that means having to use Photoshop and pull some levers (not tried that, so I can't say how well it works), but I'm thinking in these times of AI-solutions, that there could be a simple way to remove it "with a click". I'm usually working in Adobe Lightroom, so it would be cool to know if there's a built-in solution or a filter/preset that could do the job...

ANyone else struggling with this?

Dance photography. The image has horizontal lines over it as a result of the camera's sensor and the frequency of the LED lights not working well together.

Proof of life

This post does not indicate my return. I'm still recovering from what was a worse bout of COVID than I'd have hoped for. Hours after posting my positive test result 8 days ago and professing mild symptoms, I developed a 104⁰ fever, head to toe rash, delirium, and collapse. It has been a long, hard week!

That being said, I'm still standing. I took this photograph from the garden today, during an especially strong gust of wind

Love you all. See you soon 😘💕🍃🍁

Photo shot straight up into the sky of many, many tree seeds falling together, with a few sprigs of leaves, during a huge wind gust. Seen against white clouds and blue skies

The Creature and I really needed the fresh air.

#Plushtodon #Merchtodon #Photo #Photography #Selfie #LetyDoesSelfies

Photo of Lety and the Creature Mastodon stuffed toy sitting on the brick wall of a rotunda by a lakeside beach on a bright, sunny day. From top to bottom, she is seen wearing a pink ribbed long-sleeve crop top and a brown corduroy skirt. Lety's towards image-left, seated on the very edge of the brick wall, smiling as the wind blows by and she faces the skies above the beach. In the foreground beside her is the Creature sitting in its tote bag, facing in the same direction. The blue lake in the background makes up most of the scene, and further back, brown, brushy hills dotted with large green and yellow trees meet the cloudy sky to form the upper third of the image. Lety's nipples are rock-hard and poking through her shirt because she thought 74 degrees Fahrenheit would be plenty warm, but apparently, it might as well be sub-freezing.

A favorite photo of mine taken in a snowstorm and couldn't see a thing. So I just let all the rules go and shot it the way it was. Solarized during processing.

By 5:30 pm, the people we met in the afternoon were still there and had lit a fire to keep warm during an ice fishing excursion. It was kind of a cool thing to see, but at sixteen degrees, I'm not sure I would have made it that long.

Don't Care Where it Goes - Felt like that looking down the railroad tracks. Past the abandoned Narrowsburg lumber yard and a pass through Barryville, New York. Freight trains, no passengers, but felt like getting on anyway.

Bridge

#Landscape #Photography

Misty scene of a wooden bridge spanning a still body of water. The bridge is simple, with a few wooden beams and railings. The water reflects the bridge and the surrounding trees, creating a mirror-like effect. The trees on both sides of the bridge are bare and skeletal, adding to the atmosphere of tranquility and solitude.
