By 5:30 pm, the people we met in the afternoon were still there and had lit a fire to keep warm during an ice fishing excursion. It was kind of a cool thing to see, but at sixteen degrees, I'm not sure I would have made it that long.

Foamy 🙂 The water was high after the rain, and the temperature was 19°C (66°F), a bit warmer than I expected. This section of the creek was full of fallfish and creek chubs, hoping to see some trout further upstream 🤔

Downstream from here was full of minnows like fallfish, but farther upstream, I might find some trout 🤔 It was getting dark, so I stopped at the bridge and walked all the way back downstream to my car. Next time, I’ll start from this bridge 😊

Rain throughout the weekend, but I still did quite a bit of walking around grocery stores and a big outdoor retailer, and even got to see some trout 😉
Also, my wife got a pair of rain boots, and I got a bleacher seat 😄
