A different crop of the golden hour joggers. I really like the arch and the arched shadow in the pergola, but the tighter crop emphasizes the low sun and long shadows #photography #darktable #goldenhour #shadow #jogging #oakland #lakemerritt #sfbay #olympus #em5ii #microfourthirds #m43

![The image depicts a black and white sketch or drawing with four stylized human figures. The first figure on the left is wearing a top hat, glasses, and has facial hair, suggesting an older man in formal attire. Next to him stands another male character dressed as if he's part of a naval crew, holding what appears to be a telescope or binoculars.
The central female figure has dark eyebrows, prominent cheekbones, and wears earrings; she is depicted with a contemplative expression, possibly representing the artist Frida Kahlo based on her distinctive features. To the right stands another female character adorned in a flowing dress resembling traditional Mexican attire, holding what looks like a skull mask or decorative piece.
Behind these figures are ornate decorations that resemble part of an interior setting, including floral arrangements and draped fabrics, contributing to a scene rich with cultural symbolism. The overall composition is reminiscent of surrealist elements blended with folk art influences, possibly indicating themes related to identity, culture, and perhaps the contrast between life and death or reality and imagination.
In terms of visual accessibility, it's essential to note that this image is not in color due to its monochromatic nature; therefore, any reference to colors would be misleading. EVF with bifocals
I just got new glasses, after an appointment featuring my optometrist telling me “I warned you you were getting older.” The bifocal script isn’t strong, but it’s there!
And now I can’t figure out how to use my viewfinder. I can use the screen, but I preferred (or at least did!) to use the EVF. Right now, I can’t even get it clear enough to adjust the diopter. I have to imagine there’s someone else here with bifocals who has figured out what works for them – advice, tips, tricks, ways to reverse my degrading eyesight, I’ll take anything.
Thanks!
