The debut recordings from Naujawanan Baidar, the latest project of artist and musician N.R. Safi. With roots in the now-endangered sounds of 1970s Afghan cassette culture, Naujawanan Baidar filters the traditional music of Safi's paternal heritage through a labyrinth of buzzing drones, tape manipulation, and fuzz-drenched percussion. Traditional folk instruments (both acoustic and home-amplified) like the rubab, armonia, sorna, and tabla, twist and melt into blown-out electrical storms, proving that one does not necessarily need guitars or any other standard western instrumentation to channel the trance-like energy of rock and roll. Had the dusty backstreets of pre-war Kabul birthed an experimental music scene paralleling German's krautrock movement, one can imagine that the results might have sounded a little something like this.
These tracks were cut over the course of 2017 as a sort of sonic notebook, documenting the evolution of the project as it first took shape. Though the majority were originally conceived of as nothing more than demos or impressionistic sketches, the spontaneous and ramshackle approach of the tapes was eventually deemed more than befitting the spirit of the project. Keep an eye out for a second volume (coming soon on Radio Khiyābān) as well as the... first taste of proper Naujawanan Baidar studio recordings.

Histoire de Melody Nelson is a 1971 concept album by French songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. Produced by Jean-Claude Desmarty, the album was released on March 24, 1971 through Philips Records. The Lolita-esque pseudo-autobiographical plot of the album involves the middle-aged Gainsbourg unintentionally colliding his Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost into teenage girl Melody Nelson's bicycle, and the subsequent seduction and romance that ensues. Histoire de Melody Nelson is considered by many critics and fans to be Gainsbourg's most influential and accomplished work, as well as one of the greatest French-language albums in popular music.

Fun House is the second studio album by American rock band The Stooges. It was released on 7 July 1970 through Elektra Records. Though initially commercially unsuccessful, Fun House developed a strong cult following and, like its successor (1973's Raw Power), is generally considered integral in the development of punk rock.

Odessa is a studio album by the Bee Gees, released in 1969. It is their sixth album, the group's fourth album released internationally, and their first released as a double LP. Odessa is noted in Robert Dimery's book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.[1]
Odessa would be the final album for the band's original incarnation. Guitarist Vince Melouney would pursue other interests, and Robin Gibb would leave the band over personal and artistic differences with brother Barry Gibb. Barry and Maurice would continue to record with drummer Colin Petersen as the Bee Gees, but disintegrated when Petersen was fired.

就是这样一张侥幸逃过灭顶之灾且知名度并不太高的唱片，在强手林立的滚石500张最强专辑中排名却高居第80位，并不是偶然的。滚石的编辑认为，这张专辑把类似于Beatles的那张Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band中的迷幻曲风和正在发展的英格兰流行音乐进行了很好的融合。我听过之后，觉得确实非常好听，单纯论好听的话，我认为不比Beatles那张Sgt' Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band差。如果不是因为乐队名气实在太小，我相信这张专辑还可以获得更高的名次，推荐！
