As you can see here I have composed this photograph with my bike computer clearly removed from its cradle on the race machine

This is from a period where seeing the stats of the ride is very important

It is also from a period when phones only have a yes no GSM and SMS capability

In the period when free bike computers could be run from Android systems, I stopped buying these excellent bike computers because most importantly I did not need to buy multiple copies of these bike computers

Oujda - Morroco

Counterfeit or smuggled cigarettes seem to be pretty common, you could find someone selling them around every corner.

#photography #fujifilm #Oujda #Morroco

Picture of a man selling cigarettes on the street, his right arm placed on a selfmade counter that looks like a big pack of Marlboro.

BW picture of a man sitting patiently in a small alley, selling cigarettes. In the background the frenzy of the market.

#Mexico #EdvanderElsken #third #fotografie #photography #EdVanDerElsken #EdvanderElsken

http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/RP-F-2019-298-9-4

The image is a black and white photograph depicting an outdoor rural scene. It features two horses, each adorned with saddles or blankets on their backs, standing near the ground. One horse has a more prominent presence in the foreground while the other stands further back to its right.

There are three individuals visible: one person walking towards the camera wearing light-colored clothing and another individual mounted on the foremost horse's saddle. The third figure is partially obscured by plants but seems to be interacting with or tending to these animals.

The background includes a variety of vegetation, such as agave plants and tall trees silhouetted against a darkening sky that suggests either dawn or dusk. Rocks are scattered across what appears to be an open field or clearing. The overall atmosphere conveys a sense of everyday rural life with individuals engaged in work related to the horses.

There is no direct indication of movement, but the posture and orientation suggest activity around these animals.

Sunrise, Nishinomiya, Japan.
#landscapephotography #sunrise #morninglight #goldenhour #clouds #photography

At the bottom of the frame there is dark ground, and silhouettes of a house and a construction backhoe. Just above the house on the left, the sun is barely visible over the roof. The sun and the sky around it are orange, but there is a layer of dark cloud just above the sun and all across the frame. There is a patch of blue sky above that, but the rest of the frame is dark clouds mixed with some bright white highlights.

#GutenMorgen Fediland. ☕
Exil.

Top view of a vanilla cake donut (doughnut) with sky blue frosting sporting white, pink, green, orange, and yellow sugar sprinkles on the left half and an M-shaped line of white frosting on the right half. Or is it? Nope! It's actually a fake food prop made of squishy foam and only 2 inches in diameter. Were you fooled? I was - and continue to be. It's taking all my willpower to resist sneaking a bite or two just to be sure it's fake. So far, so good, but I doubt my ability to keep this up forever. Perhaps the solution is to leave it out in a conspicuous place and let someone else perform the taste test for me? No? Drat! Now what?? *Wondering if I can hold out long enough to get it into a bank's safe deposit box*

On what was a lovely, sunny day at home, I couldn't help but notice that Mother Nature was taking a moment to immerse herself in the reposeful atmosphere.
