A shot of rowhouses in Philadelphia. The building is a light-colored stone. White marble steps lead up to two side-by-side doors. On the left is a bright orange, and next to it is a deep green door.

This is Watson. Watson was a naughty alpaca who would start fight with his brothers. He finally got his ass kicked and his ears bit and ended up in the penalty box with medication on his ear. Don't be like Watson.

A front-facing view of a fluffy white alpaca standing inside a barn stall. It is looking directly toward the camera over a wooden door. The alpaca has fuzzy fleece on its head, dark eyes, and visible lower teeth. Its ears are pointed straight up and are stained a bright pinkish-purple from an antiseptic spray.

Day 265
#365project

Tonight's sunset is dedicated to @Grannybeelee on her birthday who wishes for more cake and beautiful sunsets for everybody!

You may think this looks familiar, and you'd be correct. But I can't help it if I have a crazy beautiful, perfectly scenic view on my dog walk every evening. So when the sky looks like this, you're gonna see it!

#Cymru #Wales #Porthmadog #Eryri #Snowdonia #lake #reflection #reflections #mirrorimage #scenicview #mountains #Gebirge #sky #clouds #cloudscape #cloudporn #sunset #dusk #bluehour #goldenhour #pastelsky #nature #Natur #landscape #Landschaft #naturephotography #landscapephotography #photography

A scenic view over Llyn Bach in Porthmadog at golden hour. The calm lake perfectly reflects a dramatic, colorful sky in pastel pinks, oranges, and blues. Low-hanging clouds stretch across the sky in distinct horizontal stripes and partially shroud the rugged Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains rising in the background. A line of dark green trees on the far bank reflected in the lake.

a bouquet of buildings

(Downtown Jersey City, NJ)

Photo taken from Razza outdoor seating area across Grove Street from City Hall (part of which is seen at right).

Mixed low-rise and high-rise buildings.

We see some high-rise buildings in the middle distance, and some low-rise buildings nearer. Parts of the sky exhibit some cloud versus blue drama. Near, to the left of the frame and toward the bottom, we see a wooden plank sign painted with a yellow crescent moon and the word "BAR" in white. We also see (at the bottom of the frame) a person's head and shoulders from the back, and the tops of some cars.

A question for photographers:

Do you use a photo storage service? If so, which do you use? The only one that I am aware of is flickr. Or do you, instead, self-host and use your own website?

Thanks!

St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, featuring the magnificent St. Peter's Baldachin. The massive, four-story bronze canopy was designed by the famous Baroque master architect and sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Commissioned by Pope Urban VIII, it took over a decade to complete between 1623 and 1634. It stands directly beneath the main dome, positioning itself directly over the High Altar and marking the sacred burial site of Saint Peter the Apostle.🇻🇦
