A dramatic landscape photograph featuring still water that perfectly reflects a moody, cloud-filled sky. Distant mountains with touches of sunlight on their peaks line the horizon, separated from the water by a stretch of marshy reeds.

Day 265
#365project

Tonight's sunset is dedicated to @Grannybeelee on her birthday who wishes for more cake and beautiful sunsets for everybody!

You may think this looks familiar, and you'd be correct. But I can't help it if I have a crazy beautiful, perfectly scenic view on my dog walk every evening. So when the sky looks like this, you're gonna see it!

A scenic view over Llyn Bach in Porthmadog at golden hour. The calm lake perfectly reflects a dramatic, colorful sky in pastel pinks, oranges, and blues. Low-hanging clouds stretch across the sky in distinct horizontal stripes and partially shroud the rugged Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains rising in the background. A line of dark green trees on the far bank reflected in the lake.

A wide-angle view of a hiking trail on a bright, sunny day. A narrow, green grass footpath cuts through a steep hillside covered in tall, dry, yellow-brown grass.
A bright blue sky fills the upper half of the frame, with a single white cloud floating at eye level over the a green valley and the coastline in the background.

A calm coastal inlet with still, reflective water meeting a smooth white sand shoreline. Lush green coastal vegetation and dark bushes line the bank on the right, while low, forested hills sit under a heavy, overcast grey sky on the horizon. A subtle watermark is positioned in the bottom right corner.

A perfectly still lake creates a flawless mirror reflection of a dramatic sunset over the distant Moelwynion mountain range. The entire image is washed in shades of soft pink and purple, with a dark line of trees lining the bank of the lake running horizontally across the middle of the frame.

A clear blue sky with a large, fluffy white cloud hangs over vibrant green mountains in Eryri (Snowdonia). The calm surface of a lake below perfectly mirrors the clouds, the green hills, and the blue sky. A rocky shoreline is visible in the immediate foreground.
