September sunset on the Brighton Seafront Gazebo
#photography #photographie #streetphotography #photographiederue #brighton #brightonandhove #urbanphotography #cityphotography #beach #gazebo #goldenhour #travelphotography #travel #sunset

Photograph of dance group training at sunset in a gazebo by a seafront promenade. The sunset sky is a gradient from deep blue at the top to yellow to red near the horizon. The dancers are blurry from motion blur while the gazebo and other static elements of the picture are detailed and neat.

// Exif on post‘s instance

A black and white image of a curved mountain slope, covered in grass. In the shallow pit two objects compose the shot: a small cabin / Cottage and a coniferous tree standing somewhat apart on the meadow, but still forming a balanced pair in the composition. In the distance / upper part a wooden fence marks a hiking trail with some bushes on the side.

Bibliothèque des Sciences UQÀM, Montreal QC.

The science library of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) is located inside one of the former workshops of the École Technique de Montréal.
They were likely built together with the main building on Sherbrooke Street in 1909-1911 whose design is by John Smith Archibald with Maurice Perrault and Louis-Alphonse Venne.

A person walks while talking on the phone outside a large brick building with tall windows. Modern high-rise buildings are visible in the background. The scene is set in an urban environment with cloudy weather.

The weather was beautiful; the breeze encapsulated the scenery, and the vibrant landscape around me made for a sun-swept, serene day.

An abandoned 1920s variety theatre I photographed a few years ago. Somewhere in the USA.

The interior of an abandoned theatre reveals rows of deteriorating red velvet seats facing a distant stage. A heavily damaged green and gold ornate ceiling looms above.

Sunset and Elephant just would not co-operate. So I took two shots and made one.

Pulpit, Church of St James, Kingston, Isle of Purbeck
Very fancy - but the vicar can't get away with wearing his PJs under his surplice.
