BESONDERS. SCHÖN." in weißer, sauberer, serifenloser Schrift aufgedruckt.

Bracket fungus gets totally destroyed and it's like, whatever, I'l just grow a new one. (Ganoderma sp.)

A red bracket fungus on a tree stump is all beaten up with half of its surface munched away by insects or whatever, and it's growing a new little one right out of the side of it.

A black and white photograph of wildflowers in the center, protruding from a thick layer of snow, at the edge of a completely snow-covered field, disappearing behind it into the white mist. The plants are at eye level. In the foreground, a dirty bank of snow, more than 1 meter deep, is cut straight across by the snowplow.

A macro black and white photograph of a freshly opened hydrangea blossom in the dim daylight, with four round, veined petals, one of which is smaller and heart-shaped. Rainwater covers the flower and remains trapped within its dome. Beyond the flower, darkness.

Photograph of a large window framed in black on the corner of a brown slatted building, visible to the right of the window. To the left of the window and the building, a green forest landscape under a cloudy sky stretches beyond a black iron fence. Inside the window, a white canvas has been lowered. Reflected in it is the image of a woman taking the photograph on a wooden patio enclosed by a black fence, with another building and trees behind.

I've been walking past this building near First Avenue and 22nd St. for a while and admiring the red and purple paint job. On this day, I managed to get the light hitting it, making the scene seem a little wistful to me #Photography #NYC #AltText #iPhonePhotography

A square color photo of the front of a building with a tree in front of it. It is a thinner trunked tree that goes up in the middle of the photo and branches out into a Y to a full covering of green leaves all across the top. The top of the building is red and the bottom quarter of the building is painted lavender. There are fire escapes going up the left side. The sun is hitting so that all of the leaves and branches on the trees are throwing shadows onto the building. It has a full front of vertical rectangle windows a few feet apart covering the face of the building.

The rusting enigma, Esztergom coal loader (Esztergomi szénrakodó) in Hungary

This 100-year-old industrial skeleton stands in the waters of the Danube. Built in 1927, this imposing structure served as the final terminal for coal travelling from the Dorog mines.

Now it is a disintegrating ruin of concrete and steel foundations, slowly yielding to the river’s current since the site was decommissioned in 1963.
