#Tilia, Linden flowers, dried, in a large storage jar 0974. This is used as a tea (tisane) through most of Europe. In January it's the smell of summer.

One year ago today I posted this practically shot Iron Giant photo I created using real figures, lighting, miniature sets & my trusty old tin foil for water technique & cotton wool for the splashes.

The Iron Giant jumps into to a Lake splashing so hard he has emptied it. Hogarth has washed up in a tree in the foreground

all this was held within the earth

Close-up of delicate lavender-purple sweet pea blossoms covered in round raindrops, with green stems and buds set against a softly blurred background of pastel pink, green, and orange.

A black and white macro photograph of a moth perched on a window frame, clinging vertically to the edge of the screen, the mesh of which is partially visible at the top of the image. The moth is completely white, hairy, particularly on its head, with a sort of white mane, and its open wings have a slightly powdery texture. Its shadow is visible beneath it. The photograph is taken slightly from the side, and the rest of the window frame stretches into the background, illuminated by sunlight.
