Path

#fotomontag #monochrome #blackandwhite #forest #winter #photography

Black and white photograph of a snowshoe trail in the forest, passing between two rows of neatly planted spruce trees, almost creating a tunnel. The sun is filtering through the branches. Let's imagine an allegory on life as the path is very straight but the destination quite unclear, the other end of the tunnel being blocked by the branches.

Monument to the Unknown Bureaucrat

Magnús Tómasson (1994), Reykjavik

#FotoVorschlag - Öffentliche Kunst // Public art
#monochrome #monochromemonday #fotomontag #blackandwhite #photography

Black and white photograph of a sculpture depicting a worker in a suit, with shoes and a suitcase in his right hand, his left hand in his trouser pocket. A huge block of Icelandic volcanic basalt replaces the upper half of his body and his head, the same block from which the lower half was carved. The worker "walks" on cobblestones, with a low stone wall behind him and the small artificial lake of Reykjavik visible beyond.

Glass Rhythm

📷️ Ricoh GRIIIX

#photography #photo #fotografie #color #ricoh #blackandwhite #monochrome #blackandwhitephotography #MonochromeMonday #Fotomontag #PhotoMonday #architecture #minimalism

This black-and-white photograph captures the facade of a modern building, shot from a low angle looking upward. A row of identical glass bay windows with dark metal frames stretches into the distance, creating a strict, repeating rhythm and a strong perspective. Clouds and the gray sky are reflected in the glass, making the building appear almost transparent and dissolving into the air. Inside, behind the glass, white columns are faintly visible. The image is built on pure geometry, rhythm, and the play of reflections, conveying the image of modern, minimalist urban architecture.
