Photograph of the interior of a medersa (madrasa), taken from the ground in a square inner courtyard, looking up at the first floor and square opening in the ceiling. All the structure is made of wood, with white painted pillars and brown railings and beams, finely engraved and decorated in the islamic art fashion.
This was Medersa Ben Youssef in Marrakech in 2006, a quiet and serene school dedicated to the study of islam built in 1565.

Macro photograph in black and white of a coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) flower bud, all its petals still tightly closed together, reproducing a flower shape. White cottony hair protecting the inside of the tepals can be seen stretching out like spider web around the bud with the opening process. The rest of vegetation is blurred in the background.
